Frenchville, Maine's high temperature on Thursday was its previous record low!
The cold air is here! In the Town of Williston, usually one of the warmest places in the area, we officially dropped to 19°f this morning -- coldest in the Central Savannah River Area. But, that does not compare to this find out of Frenchville, Maine. The official weather almanac from yesterday showed that the high in Frenchville tied its previous record low! Obviously, they set a new record low for the day.
Frenchville now owns three record lows to begin 2014, and the current temperature at the 11 am hour is three degrees below its previous record low of -11°f, which was set in 2008. [Weather Underground]
