Study says South Carolina not-so-friendly towards entrepreneurs

COLUMBIA — A report released by the Anderson Economic Group looked at the overall tax burden on small businesses around the country, and it ranked South Carolina 42d out of the 50 states.

Even New York, a state the far right hates because the people there must pay their fair share of taxes, outranked South Carolina.

Some small business owners around the state, including on the South Carolina side of the Central Savannah River Area, say just starting your own business is a difficult process.

This report is just more proof that right-to-work laws do not create a business-friendly environment for employers or employees.
