Most disgusting tweet of the day (and Asshole of the Day) award: Frank Pavone

There is an undisputed champion when it comes to Most Disgusting Tweet of the Day and Asshole of the Day award. They are one and the same. Frank Pavone gets both awards for this tweet, more than four hours after the worst K-12 school massacre in United States history took place in Newtown, Conn.

This is a man who supports the wholesale slaughter of 291 million women and girls during pregnancy and childbirth in a 236.5-year span. This man is the purveyor of the real culture of death and the culture of misogyny.

The true definition of socialism, READ IT if you are an American!

Socialism is by the people and for the people. In socialism, people elect the government and their representatives in the congress. The people want the government to stand for their right against those with capital and financial power. Money corrupts politicians. That is why the financial institutes including Health care insurance, pharmaceutical companies etc corrupt our representatives and our government. Socialism by definition put the power in the hand of the government to protect the people. Our government, with all its branches; even the judicial, backs away from protecting the right of the people to protect the few rich in our country. In socialism, the elected government has earned the trust of the people, its function is to regulate the private sector and not to own it, to be sure that the few rich do not abuse the majority of working class. Should we trust the elected representative or the CEO of the insurance company. Unless, our elected representatives sold themselves to the DEVIL of the financial institute. STOP the LOBBYIST. HAVE A CLEAN GOVERNMENT. The conservatives twisted that, and send the fear of Government take over. The democrats, for their ignorance, arrogance or fear fill into the conservatives' trap.

Liberals MADE America the great country that it is. Conservatives have DESTROYED America!

Who gave you the weekend? Who gave you sick leave? Who gave you safer working conditions? Liberals! That's right, less than a century ago, before liberal organized labor, companies had people working seven days a week in overcrowded dangerous factories.

Who stood up and fought and risked their lives to end segregation? Liberals!

Who fought back against corporations polluting our land, water and air? Liberals!

Who believes that abortion should be safe, legal, and rare? Liberals!

Who opposes America invading foreign countries that never attacked us, when we lack a clear mission and an exit strategy? Liberals!

If someone offered you something you enjoy eating, like, say, a bowl of delicious soup, would you the dish filled liberally or conservatively? If you were bleeding profusely and someone were bandaging you, would you want the bandages done liberally or conservatively? If you were buying power tools, would it be better to estimate your needs conservatively and end up with under-powered tools that you would need to replace, or to estimate your needs liberally and end up with tools that can do the job?

We need more liberals and we need to find a way to stop idiots on Fox News and the rest of the lying liars to stop lying about what liberals believe and work for
